Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement
Issued in accordance with Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015
Organisation
This statement applies to all individuals working for or on behalf of The Results People Ltd, across all levels and roles. This includes directors, employees, agency workers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
It refers to the financial year ending 2026.
Organisational Structure
The Results People Ltd operates across the United Kingdom, with headquarters based in Warrington. The business is led by a senior leadership team including Dorian Dyer (Director) and Chris Howe (Director) and Russell Jones (Director).
We specialise in the recruitment and supply of temporary labour across a range of business sectors, with a commitment to ethical recruitment, transparent operations, and high-performance workforce delivery. All labour we engage is based within the UK.
What We Mean by Modern Slavery
We define modern slavery as including:
- Human trafficking
- Forced or compulsory labour
- Coercion through threats or abuse
- Dehumanisation or treating individuals as commodities
- Restrictions on freedom of movement
Our Commitment
We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. The Results People is fully committed to upholding the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and ensuring that no part of our business or supply chain is involved in unethical labour practices.
We actively assess, monitor, and review the risks within our operations, policies, and partnerships.
Our Supply Chain
Our supply chains relate primarily to recruitment, resourcing, and workforce management services within the UK. We only engage suppliers who demonstrate a strong commitment to fair employment practices.
All third parties are expected to apply these principles throughout their own supply networks and are required to meet our Supplier Code of Conduct.
Risks & Exposure
As a recruitment business, we acknowledge that there may be elevated risk within the temporary labour market, particularly where migrant workers are involved. This includes risks of exploitation, withheld wages, and coercive third-party control.
We take these risks seriously and take proactive steps to ensure ethical compliance across our operations and partners. Our overall exposure is considered moderate but well-managed.
Our Preventative Approach
To mitigate the risk of modern slavery, we have implemented the following controls:
- Rigorous due diligence checks on all workers and suppliers, including right-to-work verification, ID checks, and reference screening
- Inclusion of anti-slavery clauses in supplier and client contracts, with clear termination rights
- Regular audits and compliance reviews of labour supply chains
- A defined escalation and reporting process for concerns or breaches
- Training for staff and managers on recognising the signs of exploitation and trafficking
- Whistleblowing Policy, enabling confidential reporting without fear of reprisal
- Promotion of open and safe communication channels for all workers
Training & Awareness
All staff involved in recruitment, compliance, and operational delivery receive annual training on:
- Recognising modern slavery risks
- How to raise concerns
- The legal and ethical responsibilities of our organisation
This training is also integrated into our employee induction process.
Monitoring Performance
We assess our effectiveness through the following key indicators:
- Number of supplier and workforce audits completed annually
- Incidents of modern slavery reported, investigated, and resolved
- Percentage of operational staff trained annually
- Frequency of policy and procedure reviews
Continuous Improvement
We are committed to continuous improvement in our efforts to prevent modern slavery. Each year we:
- Review our internal processes and supplier vetting systems
- Update our risk assessments and training materials
- Revisit supplier performance and adherence to ethical standards
- Stay up to date with changes to legislation and industry best practice
Governance & Accountability
A dedicated Compliance Lead is responsible for overseeing our modern slavery strategy, ensuring we meet our obligations under the Act, and reporting to the senior leadership team.
Any concerns relating to unethical or illegal practices should be reported to the Compliance Lead immediately or via our whistleblowing channel.
